Replacement Brushes and Rollers For your Glass Washer and Edger
Eventually after years of use your glass washer will need the brushes and rollers replaced.
Somaca and CRL vertical and horizontal glass washing machines operate by scrubbing glass clean using cylindrical bristle brushes, as it is conveyed through the machine on rubber covered rollers. Spray pipes apply water to both surfaces of the glass. After brush cleaning, the glass is dried with compressed air from both surfaces, leaving the glass thoroughly dry.
To achieve the best quality glass cleanliness, it is imperative to use good quality bristle brushes and rollers.
Somaca and CRL glass edgers have bristle brushes that help keep the water inside the grinding compartment. It is important to change these brushes out to avoid scratching your glass. The glass grinding will harden the brush bristle.
Most of the damage done to the brush shaft and roller shafts are caused by a bearing that freezes up due to water penetration and wears grooves on the shaft where the bearings sit. This can be prevented by monthly inspections on the bearings.
